  7. First, uncompress this software into
  8. a temporary directory.  Then, run the "Setup.exe" 
  9. file to complete the installation.
  10.  
  11. **********************NOTE!!**************************
  12. Since this product is especially designed for Visual
  13. Basic 5 developers, the setup routine does not include
  14. the standard VB dependency libraries (MSVBVM50.DLL,
  15. STDOLE2.TLB,OLEAUT32.DLL,OLEPRO32.DLL,ASYCFILT.DLL,
  16. CTL3D32.DLL,COMCAT.DLL).  If setup fails because
  17. these files are not installed, you will need to obtain
  18. the latest versions from Microsoft Corp.
  19.  
  20. In addition, this product is designed to be used only 
  21. on Windows NT« 4.0 Server or Workstation.  If you attempt
  22. to use the control in Windows 95«, the control will
  23. generate an error message upon initialization.

  26. When and if you need to uninstall Event Writer, run the
  27. uninstall program from the Add/Remove Programs area in
  28. the Control Panel.  The uninstall routine will warn you
  29. that it cannot uninstall the "dlic0002.txt" file; don't
  30. worry, as this is a temporary file used during installation
  31. and removed by the installation process.

  45. Remember, you are granted a 30-day evaluation period
  46. for Event Writer Limited.  After that period, you
  47. must either purchase a license of Event Writer
  48. or uninstall and discontinue use of Event Writer 
  49. Limited.
